For over 35 years, the Anacostia Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) has been at the forefront in working towards the progression of the Anacostia / Far Southeast community. Since its inception, AEDC has built retail facilities, office developments, residential properties and facilitated entrepreneurship which have led to an increased number of jobs, first time home buyers, and an overall improved quality of life for the Anacostia / Far Southeast DC community.
